Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, Spirit of Wisdom, guide priests
(here we name the priest).
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Light, enlighten priests.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Purity, sanctify priests.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of Strength, sustain priests.
Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, grant that priests, enlivened and strengthened by your grace, may carry the word of truth and the blessing of peace to the whole world.
May the fire of holy love set their hearts ablaze, so that in its flames they may cleanse and sanctify souls.
Holy Spirit, I entrust to you the hearts of priests: shape them after the Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
