The Bethany Mission
It grew out of the charism of the Sisters of the Bethany Family, whose founding father is Fr Józef Małysiak SDS, and is the fruit of the adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for priests.
Any priest who wishes to be enrolled in the Mission and to be prayed for by a particular person for the rest of his life may apply, giving his name, surname and date of ordination.
The spiritual guardian will know only the first name and the date of ordination. Once the prayer begins, priests receive a confirmation.
O my dear daughters! I longed for you to be a support of prayer for priests in their difficult service, and for them to be able to count on your help in parish work. For you a priest is another Christ, and at the same time an ordinary, weak man. You need to remember that.

Do you need prayer?
Here you can leave your intention. We will carry it to the feet of Jesus hidden in the Blessed Sacrament. In our convents we adore our Lord every day, commending to him in a special way you, the priests, and every request that reaches us in your intentions. Lay people who form the work of the Bethany Mission for the Support of Priests pray as well.
You can sign your intention with your first name or remain anonymous.
The SMS prayer helpline
There is also another way, which we call the SMS helpline for priests. You can send a text message asking for prayer to the BMWK telephone number.
Our sisters will then accompany you, dear priest, with their prayer.

Inviting the sisters to your parish
We will gladly come to your parish for what we call „Priesthood Sunday”, to bear witness to prayer for priests, to speak of the beauty of Christ's priesthood and to encourage parishioners to pray for priests.
The National Pilgrimage of Those Praying for Priests
Let us meet at Jasna Góra
Once a year we gather at the throne of Our Lady of Jasna Góra to give thanks together for the gift of the priesthood and to pray for priests. Brother priests, take part with us and bring your parishioners along!
