Priesthood Sunday
Inviting the sisters to your parish
It is a direct, personal meeting with the faithful in a particular parish, at the invitation of the parish priest.
Throughout the Sunday the sisters bear witness to prayer for priests, showing the true picture of Christ's priesthood, its beauty and greatness. After each Holy Mass materials about the Bethany Mission for the Support of Priests are handed out, and the faithful are encouraged to pray for their shepherds, also by joining this work.

O my beloved daughters! I wanted you to be a support in prayer for priests in their difficult service, so that they could count on your help in parish work. For you a priest is another Christ, yet at the same time an ordinary and weak man. You need to remember this.
To speak of the beauty of the Priesthood
To remind people that it belongs to Christ — that is our mission.
In times of particular attacks on the Church and on priests, our apostolate seems extremely needed. A personal meeting, reaching human hearts, changes the way people look at the priesthood and opens them to prayer. We experience this very strongly during our visits for Priesthood Sundays.
So far we have visited 80 parish communities, several seminaries and various formation groups. We are deeply grateful to the priests we met there for their warm welcome and open hearts. In several parishes BMWK prayer groups have even come into being.
