Prayer for vocations by John Paul II

O Jesus, Good Shepherd, receive our praise and humble thanksgiving for all the vocations which, through the Holy Spirit, you unceasingly grant to your Church. Increase the number of the labourers of the Gospel, that your name may be proclaimed to all the nations. Watch over the young people of our families and of our communities. Grant them readiness and generosity in following you. Turn your eyes upon the young today also, and call them. Give all those you call the strength to leave everything and to choose you alone, who are Love. Forgive the hesitations and the infidelities of those whom you have called. Hear, O Christ, our petitions through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your Mother and the Queen of the Apostles. Amen.
