A Prayer of St Thérèse of the Child Jesus

O Jesus, Eternal and Most High Priest, keep your priests within the shelter of your Most Sacred Heart, where no one can do them harm. Keep unstained their anointed hands, which daily touch your holy Body. Keep pure their lips, reddened with your Most Precious Blood. Keep pure and free from earthly things their hearts, sealed with the sublime mark of your glorious priesthood. Let them grow in love and faithfulness to you, and guard them from the corruption of the world. You have given them the power to change bread and wine; give them also the power to change hearts. Bless their work with a wealth of fruit, and grant them thereafter the crown of eternal life. Amen.
