Prayer to the Mother of God

Mary, Mother of Christ the Priest, Mother of priests throughout the world, you loved priests in a special way,
for they are the living image of your only Son.
Throughout your earthly life you helped Jesus,
and now you intercede for us in heaven — we beg you, pray for priests! Pray to the Heavenly Father to send labourers into his harvest. Pray that we may never lack priests,
to give us the sacraments, to explain the Gospel of Christ and to teach us how to become children of God!
Mary, ask God the Father yourself to give us the priests we need, for your Heart can obtain everything from him.
Obtain for us priests who will be holy!
