I was given a priest to care for in prayer eleven years ago. The desire for spiritual motherhood is multiplied in me by the fact that we are a childless couple. During a Mass for healing, God said through the priest leading the prayer that there was a childless couple here who longed for offspring, but that God had prepared for them a spiritual motherhood which this woman did not want to accept. I understood that these words were addressed to me. I gave up looking for healing. First I spiritually adopted a conceived child. Under the influence of the „Story of a Soul” by St Thérèse of the Child Jesus I asked her for a priest for spiritual adoption, and in „Gość Niedzielny” I came across information about the BMWK. I received the answer on the feast of the Annunciation of the Lord. Since then I have accompanied a priest with prayer and with the offering of my daily life. I became a volunteer in a hospital and had the chance several times to accompany priests in illness and to keep watch as they were passing away. In a wondrous way God, through the cross of infertility, made me a midwife of souls. Iwona
