I offer my warmest thanks for your prayer. Well, we are — as St Paul put it — earthen vessels, so fragile, so easily broken. All the more so since these days stones are being hurled hard at these fragile vessels and unfortunately they can sometimes crack. It is good that there are people who glue these „shards” together with their prayer. With great humility I acknowledge that I am such a shard — and I am amazed that the Lord has patience with me. How consoling are the words about the Lord Jesus, that he will not break a bruised reed or quench a smouldering wick. These days are demanding, and we often lack strength. And the „evil one” does not sleep. That is why I very much need support, and I am grateful for that support. Fr Jan
